A Walk Through Acts provides a complete overview of the Acts of the Apostles in twenty-six compelling lessons with additional activities, coloring pages, and memory verses for children ages 5-12. Each lesson is designed as a conversational guide for building spiritual interactions within the context of Holy Scripture and fits into the framework of an hour-long session. The extra activities—split into age groups of 5-8 year-olds and 9-12 year-olds—allow the students to dive more deeply into the subject matter but can also be distributed as take-home materials. The lessons are designed for both inexperienced and veteran teachers.

While Orthodox children have likely heard the Gospel stories repeatedly in liturgy and in church school, the follow-up stories related in the Book of Acts are often overlooked. This curriculum addresses this deficit with a focused look at this sequel to the Gospels. A Walk Through Acts is written from an Orthodox Christian perspective with supporting notes from the Church Fathers and vetted by clergy and church school veterans. It is accompanied by iconographic illustrations that help inform each of the twenty-six lessons and activities. This work aspires to be a springboard into a lifelong adventure of scriptural study.
