An exquisite Greek Orthodox Icon of Aaron, the prophet of the Old Testament, handmade & hand painted by an expert Greek hagiographer.

Aaron was the older brother of Moses and a prophet of God. He represented the priestly functions of his tribe, becoming the first High Priest of the Israelites.

Made using traditional materials (selected aged timber frames, egg tempera, 24K gold leaf, natural powder paint and varnishes) and old techniques. It is an exact reproduction of an antique Byzantine masterpiece.
