This specialty Optina prayer rope comes in 100 knots and is made by the Sisters with fine quality 2-ply black wool. There is a set of beads (a glass bead of your color choice with two metallic beads on either side) every 25 knots, and a graceful tassel that has matching color accent strands in the tassel.

This prayer rope was designed in honor of the Holy Monastery of Optina in Russia, whose chain of God-bearing Elders was inspired by the life and publishing labors of St. Paisius Velichkovsky, the teacher of noetic prayer.
