Each icon is originally hand painted with gold leaf in Greece and will be replicated very close to this one pictured.

This icon includes a certificate of authenticity, a story or explanation of the subject and of how icons are painted, and a Hand Painted Label. It also contains the wax seal of authenticity from the Greek government on the back.
